Almost every summer I go to Algonquin Park. A few summers ago, while I was exploring with my friend, Amy, and her sister Laura and my little brother Adrian, we discovered a secret pond. There were birch trees and wild flowers, reeds, blue and red birds and fish. We spent most of our time at that pond, pretending we were Indian princesses and an Indian prince. One day, while we were going down to the pond very quietly, we saw a big brown hare. We could barely see it because it was so well camouflaged. Every time after that at the pond we tried to be really quiet just in case the hare ever came back. We were really sad to leave because we knew we would never find our secret pond again. We never did.
