Going to Camp He-Ho-Ha was one of the best experiences of my life. I was 10 years old. I can remember the good old days when we laughed, cried, got scared, played with the boys, and ate barbecued foods. It was the best times of my life!I could not wait until summer every year to see my friends again. It was always tough at the beginning of camp. I had to leave my neighborhood friends and family. I felt scared of who would be my roommates for the duration of camp. But as time passed (1-2 days), things got better. I made many new friends and saw many old ones too. Then near the end of camp, I began to feel a little homesick and missed Mom.
When it was time to leave camp, I never wanted to go. It was a great experience! I learned how to swim and play better at some of the sports. It was an experience to leave home for a couple of weeks. As an adult, I feel those days were the best. The memories obtained are irreplacable. I believe every child should experience camp once in their lives!
